Church Farm House is a beautifully restored Grade II listed thatched Tudor farm house which combines 16th century charm and modern comforts. Its wealth of beams, Inglenook fireplace, central heating, ensuite facilities, mature gardens (lovingly tended by Richard), ponds, patio, the view of the old flint church and candlelit dinners with your hosts make it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your stay.
Richard and Georgia Bassett came to England over thirty years ago to teach music. They fell in love with England and left teaching int the mid-1990's to concentrate on entertaining guests and running The Association for Music in International Schools, which has Church Farm House as headquarters. They love nothing more than sharing their home with guests.
The Bassetts offer you an Anglo-American welcome to this award-winning bed and breakfast, ably assisted by Bonnie the dog. The three guest rooms are "Rossini" with its 4-poster bed and ensuite shower, "Verdi" with its twin beds and ensuite bath , and "Vivaldi" which is a spacious single with ensuite shower. Guests look forward to both breakfast and dinner, since the Bassetts are avid and inventive cooks who take pride in serving the best of ingredients in a variety of delicious ways, using local ingredients as much as possible. The breakfast menu features home-smoked bacon, sausages made to a special family recipe, and hot homemade bread.
This licensed non-smoking house welcomes children over 14 and well-behaved dogs by arrangement.
