A 17th Grade II Listed country house, built in 1610 and nestling in 10 acres with private fishing lake and set on the edge of the Waveney Valley, making Grove Thorpe a paradise for lovers of the rural way of life. We welcome our guests with afternoon tea and homemade scones and jam on arrival between 4pm and 5pm.

Quality and comfort are our main priority with all bedrooms ensuite, some with super king sized beds (6ft), antique furniture and superior views over gardens and countryside from all windows. Every room has colour TV, extensive beverage tray, radio alarm, fluffy towelling robes, hairdryer, all toiletries etc. 'Garden Cottage' is a separate access ground floor luxury suite adjacent to the house, ideal if stairs a problem or if you wish to be totally private.

Central for touring Norfolk and Suffolk. The market town of Diss is 5 miles away (antique auctions and market every Friday), Norwich is 20 miles, the Norfolk Broads 15 miles, Bressingham Gardens 8 miles, Thorpe Abbotts 100th Bomb Museum 2 miles and the Southwold Coast is 24 miles.
