Moat Farm is an old Suffolk farmhouse complete with horses, a family of ducks and converted Granary. Situated in a quiet village, 2 miles off the A140, it is close to all local attractions and the coast. The dining room has a roaring log fire during winter to welcome you to breakfast which is cooked on the Aga using local produce where possible. Our large varied menu is complimented by a full side table.
The beamed ensuite room in the house with shower / bath, with its double French bed, has recently been redecorated and can be part of a family suite. The Old Granary with its vaulted ceiling has recently been converted to a high standard (which is ground floor for easy access). Both rooms are ensuite with shower/bath, and a sofa to provide a relaxing holiday base or weekend away. In all our rooms we have provided slippers, towelling robes, TV, hospitality tray and other little extras to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Travel cot and high chair available.
The self-catering barn, which sleeps 10, offers a spacious living / dining-room with an inglenook fire place, sandstone floor, cloakroom with wash basin and WC. A large French style door leads to the large parking area and lawns. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one ensuite, a twin-bedded room and bathroom/WC with over-bath shower.
