Cathedral House lies within the shadow of the Cathedral and close to Cromwell's House - the Tourist Information Centre, restaurants, shops and main facilities of Ely. The proportions of the house are singularly Georgian and belie its spacious interior. Of particular note is its fine Oriel window and elegant staircase with a very fine winding balustrade. All rooms are en suite and well appointed with garden views.

  

There are three suites, each one has its own luxury bathroom with heated towel rail and cast iron bath with mixer taps. Each suite is decorated individually with period furnishings and has a T.V, radio, hair-dryer etc. Breakfast is cooked to order, and served around a farmhouse table, in front of an open fire, when it is cold. In addition to Bed and Breakfast accommodation within Cathedral House, there is also The Coach House which is available for self catering accommodation and sleeps up to five.

  

This original Coach House has been imaginatively restored and converted into a delightful cottage full of character and charm. Situated at the bottom of the large walled garden, it is a most tranquil and secluded position Still in everyday use until the 1950’s great attention has been paid to incorporate as many of the original features as possible including the beamed ceilings. Accommodation consists of a country-style well equipped kitchen and living room with well stocked book case and upstairs there are two charming en-suite double rooms, one of which has a view of the Cathedral.
